Kidney Foundation Event A Success

The Sarnia Kidney Foundation's annual Celebrity Men in Fashion event, held Thursday, is being termed a huge success.

Over $30,000 was raised, surpassing last year's total of $22,000.

Senior Development Manager Elaine Hayter says half of the funds raised stay right here in Sarnia-Lambton.

Hayter says one of the guests, NHL Hall of Famer Bryan Trottier, donated nine NY Islanders jerseys for the auction.

The Kidney Foundation's next event is the Christine Lebrasseur Memorial Golf Tournament, July 3 at Huron Oaks golf course.
