The Sarnia Police Traffic Branch continues to investigate after a vehicle left Blackwell Side Rd. Saturday night and caught fire in a field. Police say around 8:30pm a vehicle northbound on Blackwell left the road between Michigan Line and Blackwell Rd. It ended up in a field on the east side of the road before catching on fire. The 30-year-old male driver and a 17-year-old passenger were transported to Bluewater Health with minor injuries. A Collision Reconstructionist was called in and Blackwell Side Rd. was closed to traffic until about 1pm Sunday.
