Indiefest Donates to Kids Help Phone

Indiefest will once again be holding a Battle of the Bands event this year to showcase independent music.

Every year, Indiefest supports a new local non-profit group and this year will be no different. They will be donating $500 and creating awareness for the local Kids Help Phone chapter.

Four bands will be competing and sharing $1000 in prize money. Winners will also receive recording studio time donated by Johnny Warrent Studios, and The Grove Productions.

The four bands include: - Electric Waves - Opus Rex - Grind Line - Live to Rule

Winners from 2014 Indiefest, 'Power House' will be performing at the event as well.

For those looking to attend, it takes place May 30th at 'RUSTIC' in Sarnia from 7-11pm. Tickets are available at the door for $10 or can be purchased by calling 519-479-0644.
