County Wants Answers On 402 Snow Maintenance

Lambton County staff has been directed to follow up with Ontario's Auditor General to try to determine if there has been negligence in snow removal on Hwy. 402.

Bonnie Lysyk's report says it's taking nearly three hours longer to clear roads of snow after a storm since the province switched to performance based private contracts.

Plympton Wyoming Mayor Lonny Napper is concerned about the frequency of serious multi-vehicle crashes on the 402 in their jurisdiction.
