Sarnia could soon have its third south end methadone clinic.
City council approved a rezoning of 373 Vidal St. S. at Monday's meeting to establish a medical centre/clinic and pharmacy on site.
Despite a petition from nearby residents opposing the idea, councillors voted 6-2 in favour of the proposal.
Vidal St. property owner, Irene Flory, voiced her concerns to council and was not happy with the results.

The site is nearly 900m sq. and will dedicate 174m sq. towards medical centre and clinic uses.
36 parking spaces will also be provided on site.
