A brief severe thunderstorm warning was issued by Environment Canada just after 9pm last night as a system tracked quickly through the region.
The warning for west Lambton would only last about 30 minutes. The alert for east Lambton staying up until 10:15pm
It was our first thunderstorm warning of the season. A rainfall warning issued Wednesday by the weather agency has since ended.
Just over 10mm of rain fell in the Sarnia area Thursday. Motorists may notice some ponding on area roads this morning.
