Mayor Wants To Delay Appointing Civilian To Police Services Board

Sarnia's mayor is asking council on Monday to hold off on appointing a civilian to the Sarnia Police Services Board until the new year.

Mike Bradley wants to see candidates interviewed for the position.

There are five positions on the police board -- the mayor and an appointed city councillor, two people appointed by the province and a civilian.

Bradley is recommending council appoint the civilian at its meeting on January 19.
