Bradley Seeking Review Of Planning Department

Sarnia's mayor wants a review of the  planning department's operations.

Mike Bradley is recommending council authorize a meeting Monday, between senior staff and the Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce.

He says concerns have been expressed in the community regarding the timing, costs and other related issues in the planning process.

Bradley says the review would include consultation from stakeholders including the Homebuilders Association, real estate sector and the public who use the services on a daily basis.

He believes the meeting would be the first step in discussing a mutually agreeable way to address the concerns.
