Schools Show Generosity Toward Operation Christmas Tree

The Moore Optimist Club's annual Operation Christmas Tree is off to an impressive start.

Over 5,000 food items and numerous gifts were picked up from St. Clair Township schools on Thursday.

President Fred Strickland hopes the generosity continues this weekend at the OPP drive-through.

Donations can be dropped off at the Emergency Services building is at the corner of Hill St. and Lyndoch St. in Corunna from 10am until 2pm.

Strickland encourages people to bring their families because Santa will be there.

124 gift hampers will be distributed by St. Clair Township Fire and the Knights of Columbus Saturday, December 20.
