City Surveying Newcomers Through Blue Boxes

Sarnia officials are going to use a new blue box program to help them gauge what's bringing new homeowners to the city.

Residents who have built a new home or have moved into a home since 2012 are being offered a free blue box.

Mayor Mike Bradley says people taking advantage of the program will be given a questionnaire.

New homeowners will be contacted.

Nova Chemicals contributed $10,000 to help purchase 1,500 bins.

Regional Operations Leader Rob Thompson says the program fits with Nova's community investment principles.
