One person charged following multiple thefts

One person has been charged following two separate thefts in North Perth.

The Perth County OPP began investigating on May 27 following a break-and-enter to a community organization on Main Street West in Listowel. Numerous items were taken.

Following that theft, a bicycle was stolen from a business in Listowel on June 4.

As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged a 21-year-old North Perth resident with break-and-enter as well as theft under $5,000.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on July 22 to answer to the charges.
