Local Lions Club makes pledge toward hospital foundation

The Wingham and District Hospital Foundation has received more support for its Caring Together campaign.

The Lions Club of Wingham has pledged $25,000 to the campaign, which aims to bring a brand new CT scanner to the Wingham and District Hospital.

Since 1984, the Lions Club in Wingham has donated towards numerous initiatives at the hospital, including a chemistry analyzer, cautery device, anaesthetic machine, OR Scopes, and more.

The hospital foundation has a goal of $2.5 million to make the CT scanner a reality. At the time of writing, over $1.9 million has been raised.

Everyone in the community is invited to join the Lions in supporting the CT Scanner by visiting www.wdhfoundation.ca.
