Celebration and networking event taking place for International Women's Day

A special International Women's Day event and celebration is taking place in Neustadt.

The event will be March 6 ahead of International Women's Day on March 8. The event is a networking event and celebration of women in business.

Seven local municipalities have partnered with Connecting Women of Wellington and Saugeen Area, Saugeen Connects and SEDC to put the event together. It will be held at the Neustadt Community Hall from 6-9 p.m.

It will feature a number of guest speakers, including keynote speaker Alicia Gibbons. There will also be a musical performance by Lisa McEwan. Tickets are $25 and there will be a full dinner and licensed cash bar. Tickets are available online at iwde.eventbrite.ca.
