Bruce Grey Child and Family Services to host book reading for National Truth and Reconciliation Day

Bruce Grey Child and Family Services will be hosting a special book reading.

The virtual book reading will take place on September 28 from 9:30-10:00 a.m. A local author, Dorothy Ladd, will be reading from her book Memengwaa - The Monarch Butterfly, as a way to honour National Truth and Reconciliation day, which is September 30.

West Grey Mayor delegates Strong Mayor Powers to Council

In a move to strengthen local democracy, West Grey Mayor Kevin Eccles announced today that he will delegate the strong mayor powers recently granted to him by the province back to the municipality’s elected Council and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) wherever possible.
