Perth County community to assess off-road vehicle by-laws

North Perth is asking for public input regarding a potential by-law dealing with off-road vehicle use in the municipality.

In a release, North Perth says they have acknowledged that the use of off-road vehicles, like ATVs, is becoming an increasingly popular recreational activity in and around the municipality.

With that in mind, council and municipal staff are going to take a closer look at the rules around off-road vehicle use, specifically approved roads and restricted areas. The goal is to provide North Perth with some recommendations to potentially enhance and expand the use of off-road vehicles in the municipality.

Anyone who is interested in offering their opinions can access an online survey. Comments will be received until June 7th at 4:30 p.m.
