Canadian Blood Services are hosting another blood drive at the end of the month.
This one will occur in Dundalk at the Highpoint Community School at 351 Main Street West. The staff will welcome donors from 9 am until 1 pm on Saturday, June 29th. Canadian Blood Services say that ideally they'd like to hit 75 donors to meet local blood needs.
Canadian Blood Services note that the need for blood remains constant, especially through the summer months as road traffic and accidents increase. They also say that donation levels tend to dip around long weekends as people get away for vacations.
