Local residential hospice hosting popular fundraiser

Huron's Residential Hospice is hosting a major fund-raiser Thursday night at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Goderich.

Hospice Co-Chair Jay McFarlan said this is the third year for the Handbags for Hospice event. He said the gala event will support the hospice and all of the services they offer.

“It's a gala event and this is a very coveted item among many people in our society and a lot of designer bags, fashion accessories that people can actually get really good deals on and, at the same time, support a local cause," he said.

Handbags of Hospice gets underway at 6:30 p.m. at the Knight's of Columbus Hall in Goderich.

More information about Handbags for hospice can be found on the Huron Hospice website.
