Paddle board and surfboard rentals approved for Goderich beach

There will be a new addition to the Goderich beach this summer, as well as on The Square.

The owner of SurfSup Eco Shop in Kincardine, Tarah Coates, is opening a store on the Square, and has been given permission from council to have a vehicle parked on the beach daily.

Coates said they will use the vehicle to rent out surfboards and stand-up paddle boards, and provide instruction on the beach.

Coates says their plan is to have the SurfSup Eco Shop open on the Square in Goderich for the May 24 long weekend.
