Police Surround Wingham Residence

There was a heavy police presence at a residence in Wingham on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 25th.

Police surrounded a small, grey one-story home on Victoria St., just a few houses down from the Wingham Legion. Officers had surrounded the residence, and there were six police vehicles lining the street. Some officers appeared to have tactical gear on.

Police aren't giving any details on the situation currently, and more information will be available at the discretion of the OPP. Police have left the scene.
