Saturday Night Crash In Owen Sound Under Investigation

Owen Sound Police are investigating after a dangerous two-vehicle crash Saturday night.

At 9:14pm, Owen Sound Police, Fire and EMS services responded to a collision at the intersection of 16th Street East and 28th Avenue East Owen Sound.

Investigation revealed that a 2016 Ford F-150 driven by a 46-year-old Owen Sound woman was travelling westbound on Highway 26.    The F-150 then turned left at 28th Avenue East into the path of an eastbound 2012 Ford Fusion driven by a 33-year-old Oakville man.    The F-150 came to rest on its side.

The 46-year-old female driver of the F-150 had to be extricated.   There were a total of 9 occupants between the two vehicles,  including four children.     Four people were treated for minor injuries and released.      Police continue to investigate and charges are pending.
