Forever Furniture Holds Year Long Charity Fundraiser

A local company has decided to raise money for a different charity every month.

Forever Furniture will match community donations for a different charity each month up to $5,000.  Blackburn Radio is partnering on the effort to help bring awareness to local charities.

In March, April, and May, $21,454 was raised for local groups in the Huron and Perth counties.

In March, the project supported Huron Women's Shelter Second Stage Housing and Counselling Services, and Optimism Place Women's Shelter and Support Services.

In April, Jessica's House Hospice in Exeter was the spotlight charity.

And in May, Community Living in Central Huron, Wingham, and South Huron received the donation.

Next month, The Huron County Food Bank is the charity of choice.

There is an urgent need for donations. Go to CKNX.ca for more information, or drop off non perishable food at Forever Furniture on Hwy. 21 in St. Joseph.

In December through February, Forever Furniture supported three Sania area charities.

Forever Furniture has locations in the Grand Bend and Sarnia areas.
