Twenty Years for Hanover's Aquatic Centre

It's been two decades since the Regional Aquatic Centre in Hanover opened its doors to the public offering a watery haven for swimmers of all ages.

The Aquatic Centre officially opened on May 27th of 1996, and continues to see more than 80, 000 people visit the pool every year.

Of that number, more than 2,500 are children who take part in various swimming lessons and other programs.

A number of celebrations will also be taking place over the course of the week beginning October 16th and wrapping up with a public swim on October 22nd.
