Knights Sweep Ice Dogs to Claim OHL Championship

Christian Dvorak's goal in the final five minutes of the first was all the London Knights needed to sweep the Niagara Ice Dogs and claim their fourth OHL championship title in five years. They shut out Niagara 1-0 last night in Game 4.

Dvorak was assisted by Mitch Marner and Jacob Graves.

London's Tyler Parsons made 18 saves to earn the shut out but it was Niagara's Alex Nedeljkovic that was awarded first star honours. He withstood 28 scorning attempts by the Knights.

London lost only two post season games, both in the first round to the Owen Sound Attack.

The Knights are now off to the Memorial Cup in Red Deer, Alberta next week.
