A group of hockey players from across Midwestern Ontario on the U12A Southeast Surge are International Silver Stick champs.
The team features players and coaches from Moncton, Mount Forest, Howick, Drayton, Ayton, Gowanstown, Listowel, Clifford, and Southampton.
In the 39th Annual International Silver Stick Final that began on Thursday, January 15 in Newmarket, the team went a perfect 6-0 en route to the title, beating the Northwest Chargers from Chicago 2-1.
