A three-goal first period was just enough to help the Owen Sound Attack beat the Sudbury Wolves.
The two teams played in Owen Sound on Saturday, with the Attack winning 4-3.
Opening the scoring just under three minutes in was the Attack's Landon Jackman. His 2nd goal of the season was assisted by Lenny Greenberg and Ethan Kindree.
Tristan Delisle doubled the lead with his 10th goal. Pierce Mbuyi and Harry Nansi with the helpers.
Getting the Attack's third goal of the period was Masen Wray. Getting the assists on his 5th goal were Wesley Royston and Elliot Arnett.
Sudbury got back in the game with two goals in the second period. The first was scored by Nathan Villeneuve and the second by Kieron Walton.
Arnett would score his 1st of the season halfway through the third period to give the Attack a two-goal lead. The only assist on the play went to Jake Crawford.
Arnett's goal was crucial as Walton added a second goal for Sudbury to cut the lead to one. However, this was as close as they would get as the Attack's Trenten Bennett shut the door for the rest of the game.
Bennett would make 35 saves in the game for the win.
The Attack are now 11-5-0-1 on the season.
The team's next game will be on Sunday, at home against the Erie Otters. Puck drop is scheduled for 2 p.m.
