19 rookies join 23 returning Attack players at main training camp

The Owen Sound Attack has finalized its main training camp rosters after two days of "very competitive" rookie camp.

The rosters include 23 forwards, 14 defensemen, and 5 goaltenders, the Attack said in a statement released Tuesday night

Nineteen of the the 42 players moved forward from rookie camp, joining 23 returning players.

On Team Red are forwards Jake Crawford, Nick Gilby, Landon Jackman, Ethan Kindree, Alexander Lisi, Pierce Mbuyi, Harry Nansi, Adam Pszeniczny, Jacob Vandeven, Declan Waddick, Masen Wray; defensemen Elliot Arnett, Lenny Greenberg, Ronen MacFarlane, James MacGregor, Blake Munnings, Keegan Shirley, Mason Roy, and goaltenders Dylan Durno, Carter George, and Zack Irvin.

On Team White are forwards Colton Ashby, Ben Cormier, Julius Da Silva, Michael Dec, Max Delisle, Tristan Delisle, Easton Mikus, Luca Nardilli, Nicholas Sykora, Alex Taylor, Jacob Therrien, Cole Zurawski; defensemen John-Alexander Banks, David Bedkowski, Tavin MacDonald, Chris Paolone, Braedyn Rogers, Gabe Smith, Gavin Yin, and goaltenders: Trenten Bennett, and Matthew Korprowski.

Main camp kicks off Wednesday morning at the Shallow Lake and District Community Centre with fitness testing. Practices for both teams will be held in the afternoon. Thursday and Friday, training camp swings into full gear with a full schedule of practices and scrimmages.

The main camp schedule is as follows:

Wednesday:

1:30 p.m. – 2:50 p.m.: Team Red Practice

3 p.m. – 4:20 p.m.: Team White Practice

Thursday:

9 a.m. – 10:10 a.m.: Team Red Practice

10:20 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Main Camp Scrimmage #1

11:40 a.m. – 12:50 p.m.: Team White Practice

3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Main Camp Scrimmage #2

Friday:

9 a.m. – 9:50 a.m.: Tam White Practice

10 a.m. – 11:10 a.m.: Main Camp Scrimmage #3

11:20 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.: Team Red Practice

3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Main Camp Scrimmage #4
