Winnipeg's Nick Taylor finished as the top Canadian at the 2025 RBC Canadian Open.
The PGA Tour event took place this weekend at TPC Toronto, with New Zealand's Ryan Fox winning in a playoff against American Sam Burns.
The two finished the tournament at 18-under-par, with Taylor coming in five shots behind. This was good enough to finish tied for 13th.
This performance came two years after Taylor won the 2023 RBC Canadian Open, the first Canadian to do so since 1954.
Heading into the final round on Sunday, Hamilton's Mackenzie Hughes had the best chance to win. He was sitting at 14-under-par after three rounds, however, he shot 2-over-par over the last 18 holes. This put him in a tie for 27th.
Listowel's Corey Conners, Moose Jaw's Adam Hadwin, and Richmond Hill's Taylor Pendrith also finished the tournament tied for 27th.
The other Canadians to finish in the top 50 were Thornhill's Ben Silverman, Toronto's Richard Lee, and Mississauga's Matthew Anderson.
