Brussels native Ty Sebastian named to Softball Canada men's national roster

Brussels native Ty Sebastian has been named to Softball Canada's roster for the upcoming WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup Finals.

The tournament will take place from July 8-13 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Sebastian was on the roster that captured silver at the 2022 Men's Finals.

Team Canada, currently ranked No. 4 in the world, has been slotted in Group A, alongside Argentina (No.1), New Zealand (No. 8), and Venezuela (No. 5). Group B will feature Australia (No. 2), Dominican Republic (No. 11), Japan (No. 3), and USA (No. 6).

The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Round, with the top teams from there moving on to compete in the medal round.
