The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) was well represented on Canada's gold medal winning U18 World Championship roster.
Team Canada beat Team Sweden 7-0 in Saturday's gold medal game. This is the second straight year Canada has won the U18 World Championship.
Ten of Canada's 26 players and goalies play in the OHL.
Leading the way was Sault Ste. Marie's Brady Martin who was tied for the team lead in points with 11 in seven games.
Lev Katzin with the Guelph Storm finished the tournament with 10 points, while Niagara's Ryan Roobroeck had nine.
Windsor's Jack Nesbitt and Niagara's Ethan Czata both had five points, with Sarnia's Alessandro Di Iorio and Guelph's Quinn Beauchesne each getting four points.
Tyler Hopkins with the Kingston Frontenacs and Sarnia's Beckham Edwards combined for one point in 11 games.
Arguably, Canada's best player was Brampton goalie Jack Ivankovic who played six games and posted a 0.99 goals against average and .956 save percentage.
