Walkerton high school hockey team wins OFSAA title

The Sacred Heart Secondary School boys hockey team are champions.

The boys won the OFSAA Boys AA title, defeating Holy Trinity in the quarter finals 4-3, St. Theresa 6-5 in overtime in the semi-finals, and in the finals they defeated St. Joseph's Renfrew 5-2.

Sacred Heart dominated pool play, finishing first in its pool with a perfect 6-0 record en route to the title.

Will Kuenemanled the team in points with 13, and Jack Farley led the team in goals with seven.

Myles Scott was solid in goal for Sacred Heart, starting and winning all six games and earning a shutout in the process.
