The Owen Sound Attack couldn't slow down the Erie Otters' offensive.
The two teams played in Pennsylvania on Saturday with Erie winning...
Opening the scoring was Erie's Malcolm Spence late in the first period. Sam Alfano would double the lead before the first intermission.
Spence extended Erie's lead early in the second period before Landen Hookey got the Attack on the board with his 31st goal of the season. Getting the assists on Hookey's goal were Pierce Mbuyi and Lenny Greenberg.
Tyler Challenger restored Erie's three goal lead a few minutes later. However, the Attack would get back into the game before the second intermission with goals from Harry Nansi and Alec Leonard. Greenberg got the only assist on Nansi's 7th goal, while James Petrovski and Hookey got the helpers on Leonard's 3rd of the season.
It didn't take long for Erie to regain its three goal lead as Gabriel Frasca and Wesley Royston both scored in the first six minutes of the third period.
Pano Fimis capped the scoring for Erie late in the period.
With the win, Owen Sound improves its record to 22-32-4-3, while Erie moves to 30-24-4-2.
The Attack's next game is on Wednesday, March 12, at home against the Flint Firebirds.
