It's a game the Owen Sound Attack will want to have back.
They hosted the Erie Otters on Saturday and lost 4-3 in overtime, despite having a lead after two periods.
Landen Hookey opened the scoring for the Attack in the first period. His 28th goal was assisted by Pierce Mbuyi.
The second period saw each team score twice.
Erie got the first two from Sam Alfano and Dylan Edwards.
The Attack's Ben Cormier tied the game with his 11th goal. Harry Nansi and Jake Crawford with the helpers.
A few minutes later, Hookey would get his second goal of the game. Mbuyi also got another assist while James Petrovski got the second helper.
Erie wouldn't go out without a fight. They dominated the Attack in the third period, outshooting them 14-3.
Alfano scored off one of those shots, tying the score at three goals apiece.
The game needed overtime to decide a winner with Erie's Malcolm Spence finding the back of the net halfway through the extra period.
With the loss, Owen Sound sees its record drop to 18-28-4-3, while Erie moves to 27-21-3-1.
The Attack's next game is on Monday, February 17, on the road against the Windsor Spitfires.
