It was a tough weekend for the Owen Sound Attack.
They lost at home on Saturday 4-3 to the Oshawa Generals, a day after losing 4-3 in a shootout to the London Knights.
Oshawa opened the scoring in the first period when Ethan Toms found the back of the net.
Sam McCue tied the game for the Attack before the end of the period. This goal was his 15th of the season with Carter George and Landen Hookey getting the assists.
It was McCue who would give Owen Sound the lead in the second period thanks to a powerplay goal. Tristan Delisle and Hookey with the helpers.
Oshawa scored the next two goals with the first coming from Luke Torrance and the second from Colby Barlow.
However, Rafik Varosyan would tie the game with his 2nd goal before the end of the second period.
The only goal in the third period came from Oshawa’s Calum Ritchie.
With the loss, Owen Sound’s record drops to 6-12-2-3, while Oshawa moves to 14-8-1-1.
The Attack's next game is on Wednesday, November 27, on the road against the Erie Otters.
