The Toronto Maple Leafs have picked up goalie Matt Murray in a trade with Ottawa for future considerations.
Toronto also gets a a third-round pick in 2023 and a seventh-round pick in 2024.
The Senators also retain 25 per cent of Murray's salary, meaning Murray will account for a $4.68 million cap hit for the Leafs.
Murray, who is 28, has two Stanley Cups to his credit, when he was with Pittsburgh, but was 5-12-and-2 in 20 starts last season with a .906 save percentage.
