Canada now 2-0 at Men’s Pan American Championship

After beating Colombia 5-1 in the tourney opener, Canada came away with a 3-1 win over the host Argentinians in last night's game. Sean Cleary from Newfoundland pitched a complete game for the win, allowing only one run while scattering five hits and four walks, striking out 14 batters along the way. Canada plays Puerto Rico today, with the game originally scheduled for 8 a.m. this morning, but the start was postponed to 11 a.m. eastern, and the game is now underway.

Live streaming for the XI Pan American Championship is available on Facebook Live through the WBSC Americas and Softball Canada pages, and through the Softball Premier TV YouTube page.
