Former NHL player and former St. Marys Lincoln Nathan Perrott has joined the Linc's coaching staff for the upcoming season.
The team announced the hiring via Twitter on May 31st. Perrott played 41 games for the Lincolns in the 1993-94 season, amassing 37 points and 249 PIMs. The hard nosed winger went on to play for the Oshawa Generals and Soo Greyhounds in the OHL before embarking on a long pro career which included 43 games for the Toronto Maple Leafs across parts of 2 seasons, where he amassed 3 points. He also played brief stints for the Nashville Predators and Dallas Stars, and even made a brief trip to the KHL.
Perrott most recently played for the WOAA's Walkerton Capitals in the 2011-12 season. He has served as an assistant coach with the Owen Sound Attack of the OHL in 2012-13 and as an assistant with the AAA Belle Tire program in the U.S. the following season.
