The Owen Sound Attack will have a top 10 pick at this year's OHL Priority Selection Draft.
Since the OHL season was entirely lost to COVID-19, the league held a draft lottery on May 5th to determine this year's draft order. The draft will also be a snake draft, popular in fantasy sports, to have an air of fairness in picking this time around. The draft will see rounds 1-3 taking place on Friday, June 4th and rounds 4-15 on Saturday, June 5th.
The Attack have picked 8th overall 6 times, most recently in 2014 when they selected Victor Mete, who elected not to play for them, demanding a controversial trade. Current Assistant Coach/GM, Joey Hishon, who became a star in Owen Sound, was also a previous 8th overall pick back in 2007. The Sudbury Wolves ended up drawing the first overall pick.
