Exeter Hawks name Tyler McNaughton as new Head Coach

The Exeter Hawks have chosen to hand over their coaching reins to a 24-year-old who has helped recruit a number of players into the organization the last few years.

Tyler McNaughton has accepted the Head Coach position with the Hawks, after helping out with player development and recruiting the past 2 seasons. McNaughton is a former Hawks player, spending his last 2 junior seasons with Exeter after 2 years with the Mitchell Hawks, both of the PJHL.

The Hawks organization said in a release on June 11th that they are confident the now 24-year-old can take his experience of playing, recruiting, and developing players and bring that experience to the bench and yield positive results. Exeter finished 2nd in the Yeck Division of the PJHL's Western Conference this year with 59 points, one back of Thamesford's 60.
