Conners finishes 20th at World Golf Championships

Listowel's Corey Conners finished the World Golf Championships in Shanghai tied for 20th.

Conners was the low Canadian in the field, finishing at 8-under 280, 11 strokes back of tournament winner Rory McIlroy. Xander Schauffele also finished at 19-under but lost to McIlroy in a single playoff hole.

Conners is now ranked 24th in the FedEx Cup rankings.
