Listowel's Corey Conners finished strong at the PGA's Safeway Open in Napa, California.
He shot a 7-under-65 to pull himself up 34 spots to 10-under for the tournament and into a tie for 13th.
Conners big push came on the front nine. He made five straight birdies on holes 3 through 7, then made par on hole 8 followed by another birdie on hole 9.
The winner was American Cameron Champ who finished at 17-under and Canadian Adam Hadwin was just one shot back.
