The Hanover Barons got a short handed goal from Ryan Marriage in the first period as the Barons held on for a 2-1 win over the Goderich Flyers.
Baron's forward Mark Aljoe picked up his first goal of the season, 25 seconds into the third period, which ended up being the winner.
Goderich's only goal of the game came of the stick of Chad Treble at 15:51 of the third.
Goderich had chances but went 0-for-9 on the power play as Hanover picked up five straight penalties, including a double minor, in a stretch spanning through the latter part of the second period into the third.
The Barons also fruitless on the man advantage, going 0-for-5.
Jarrod Flemming stopped 30 shots in the Flyers' net and Hanover goalie Brendon Landry stopped 32 shots.
Goderich will travel to Mount Forest on Friday while Hanover will visit Walkerton.
Elsewhere in the Pollock Division, the Mount Forest in Mitchell game was postponed.
