High school hockey converges on Kincardine

Kincardine District Secondary School is hosting the A/AA OFSAA boys' hockey tournament the next three days.

Round robin play begins 8 a.m. Tuesday and will conclude Wednesday morning.

The playoffs will start Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. and the semi-finals and medal games will be on Thursday.

There are a total of 16 teams in the mix, divided into four pools of four.

Sacred Heart of Walkerton is in Pool C and is seeded 5th. Kincardine is in Pool B and seeded 13th.

In order to accommodate the timeline, the tournament is being played out of four arenas, the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, Tiverton, Ripley and Lucknow.
