In the PJHL Pollock Division last night, the Wingham Ironmen took a 2-0 series lead over Kincardine with a 5-2 win.
Ironmen Corey Restoule got the game winner on the power play, and captain Jamie Huber collected four points on the night with a goal and three assists.
Game 3 is Friday in Wingham at 7:30 p.m.
In the other semi-final, Walkerton will host the Mount Forest Patriots Friday at 8:20 p.m. for Game 2 of that series.
Mount Forest opened up their first playoff action with a 5-1 win in Game 1 on Wednesday.
