A Mitchell fastball player has been awarded the inaugural ISC Canada East Player of the Year.
One of Tyler Pauli's big highlights of 2018 was at the U23 Canadian Junior Men’s Nationals in Quebec, leading the Owen Sound Selects to the gold medal.
He was the Top Batter, hitting five home runs and notching 15 RBIs with a .525 batting average.
He also helped the Nith River Monsters qualify for the ISC World Tournament in Kitchener.
Pauli will head to Prague, Czech Republic in June with Team Canada to compete at the 2019 WBSC World Championship and is the only player from Ontario named the 17-man roster.
