The Cyclones welcome Germany

The Listowel Cyclones will be hosting some international competition on January 19th.

The Cyclones' Wayne Long says Germany's U20 Development League Champions, the Manheim Young Eagles, are in Toronto for a tournament.

"From some of the players that have moved on from that team, I think they will be a competitive team," said Long. "It will be a good benchmark, good exposure for our guys."

"We want to have the arena full. Show a visiting team from another country what support we have in local hockey in our small communities and our new arena."

The game is in Listowel at the Steve Kerr on Saturday, January 19th at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors, students and children 12 and under. And if kids 12 and under wear their minor hockey jersey, they will get $3 off their admission.
