In the PJHL Pollock Division playoffs, the Wingham Ironmen have jumped out to a 2-0 series lead over Mitchell after a 3-1 win Sunday.
Wyatt Nicholson stopped 20 shots for the Ironmen. Logan Tolton, Josh Higgins and Jamie Huber scored for Wingham while Sean Chishom scored the lone marker for Mitchell.
Game 3 is Tuesday night in Mitchell at 8:15pm.

In Game 3 of the Flyers - Bulldogs series, Goderich peppered the Kincardine net with 18 shots in the second period but Kincardine held on and won the game 4-0 to take a 3-0 series lead.
That is the third straight shut out for Kincardine.
Brett Burrows, Tyler Sutter and Mike Fiegehen scored for the Bulldogs and Derrick Bernath added empty net goal.
Game 4 is in Goderich on Friday at 8:00 p.m.
