Ironmen Sign Veteran Listowel Forward Jamie Huber

The Wingham Ironmen have announced a major addition to their lineup.

Former Listowel Cyclones star forward Jamie Huber has signed on with the Junior C Ironmen this year. Huber won the Cherrey Cup with the Cyclones last season, posting 28 points in just 21 games as he spent part of last year out west in the BCHL.

Ironmen GM Rob Harrison says they're excited to add Huber to a young talented lineup.

"It''s huge for our organization bringing in a player of Jamie's caliber is a huge boost for us. Last year we had trouble scoring goals. Jamie in his first year as a Wingham Ironmen scored 41. So, we're looking for big things from Jamie, he's going to make all the players in our lineup better, and we couldn't be more excited about this acquisition."

Huber had 23 points in 19 playoff games for Listowel last year. He is also a former Wingham Ironmen player.
