Port Elgin Native Czuczman Signs For The Penguins

A Port Elgin native is now a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Kevin Czuczman, who was born in 1991 in Port Elgin, has signed a 1-year, 2-way contract with the Stanley Cup champions. Czuczmna, a former Walkerton Hawk, Listowel Cyclone and Waterloo Siskin, has 13 games of NHL experience, all with the New York Islanders.
The undrafted defenceman played last year with the AHL's Manitoba Moose, posting 9 goals and 23 assists for 32 points, while serving as an assistant captain. Czuczman is also a graduate of Lake Superior State in the NCAA, where he had a 3-year career.

Nine young volunteers aged 11 to 17 spent three days exploring and protecting the Lake Huron coastline during the Coastal Conservation Youth Corps' inaugural program in Grand Bend from July 21 to 23.
