The WOAA Senior Hockey League playoff series between the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks and Mapleton-Minto 81's is all even.
Andy Mitchell scored twice including a shorthanded marker with five minutes left to give Saugeen Shores a 3-2 win in Game 2, tying the semifinal series at one game apiece.
Saugeen Shores Head Coach Peter Roedger says his team fed off of Mitchell's energy.
"He's always on that bubble of scoring a ton of goals regardless, he could score every shift with the work effort that he puts in. But tonight, well done, exactly when we needed it and that was all through effort," says Roedger.
The other WOAA semifinal series between the Clinton Radars and Petrolia Squires is also tied up at one game apiece after a 5-1 win for Clinton in Game 2.
