The Saugeen-Maitland Lightning Intermediate A women's hockey team won gold at the Sudbury Invitational.
Saugeen beat Peterborough 4 to 2 in the finals on Sunday and went undefeated in five games. Over the course of the season, the team has competed in five tournaments and have won three gold medals and two silver.
